These pots are made of coconut fiber and have several great advantages for plant propagation. They allow more oxygen to the roots than plastic pots and allow good drainage preventing root rot. Over time, they will decompose and so they are eco-friendly. When you grow plants in these pots it is sensible to transplant by simply placing into the larger pot and filling with soil- no disturbing roots means preserving all the delicate root hairs and creating excellent transplants.
